Over the course of around 50 years of activity, Adega Cooperativa de Portalegre has bet in its dynamics and has embraced several projects and partnerships. As time went by, this Wine Cellar has adopted new technologies, broadening its area of production and, today, fills the gap between past and future, while keeping the traditions of vineyards’ cultivation and upgrading the equipments of processing and storage.
Adega Cooperativa de Portalegre has evolved qualitatively and quantitatively, always seeking to answer to consumers’ tastes.
Our professionalism, work and performance also reflect in several national and international awards and recognitions obtained by our white and red wines.
Today, we present several red and white wines, product of years of work and constant dedication to the vineyards. Simultaneously, we have been consolidating our commercial policy, repositioning our brands and restructuring our distribution channel.

Our association to the project "Green Cork", from Quercus (the main Portuguese Environmentalist Organization), draws attention to the importance of cork’s recycling. Here, cork is an essential raw material, given that not only the stoppers but also the labels of Conventual wine are made of it. By associating ourselver with this project, we are, thus, contributing to the economic sustainability of this important raw material, allowing its subsequent use in new applications.
